Remarks

EPSG, through its geodesy working group, maintains and publishes a data set of parameters for coordinate system and coordinate transformation description. The data is supported through formulae given in Guidance Note number 7. The EPSG Geodetic Parameters have been included as reference data in the GeoTIFF data exchange specifications, in the Iris21 data model and in Epicentre (the POSC data model).
